In this remote area, many poor people often need blood transfusions in emergencies but have no way to get the blood they need due to lack of money, influence, or access. Radhanpur, surrounded by isolated villages, struggles to get large amounts of blood quickly. To help, our College holds blood donation camps at least three times a year. This has been a regular part of College life since it started.
Additionally, the College encourages students to donate blood when hospitals need it, and they do this without expecting anything in return. This practice is now a standard part of our College.
1. The Practice:
· Creating Awareness:
This program aims to teach young people the importance of donating blood to help save lives. We do this by organizing expert talks, celebrating World Blood Donation Day, and offering one-on-one counseling.
· Ideology of Caring and Sharing :
The students are groomed with a culture of “Caring & Sharing”. They learn to keep a small space for the under privileged and consider their prime human duty to save others life.

The College organizes blood donation camps with the help of several NGOs, including the Indian Red Cross Society, Rotary Club, Sarvodaya Arogya Nidhi, Bhansali Trust, and Shri Ram Sewa Samithi. 1. Title: To reach the unreached destitute by offering Woolen clothes, Blankets and Warmers and impart human warmth.
2. Goal / Aims:
Every year, during the freezing winter, many homeless destitute suffer from the cold, and some even die. Seeing these serious plights, the College started a project to donate woolen blankets to these needy people and sweaters to children who lack warm clothing.
(3) The Context:
During the winter, many people living on the streets suffer from severe cold waves, and some elderly people and young children even die from the cold. In the villages around Radhanpur, poor children often stop going to school because they don't have enough warm clothing. To help, the College plans to run a social service project each year.
(4) Practice:
For the past 23 years, the College has run a campaign to aid underprivileged children by donating woolen clothes. Supported by affluent citizens and local NGOs like the Indian Red Cross Society, Rotary Club, Bhansali Trust, and Sarvodaya Arogya Nidhi, the College secures funds from philanthropists, donors, and institutions. They purchase blankets, shawls, and warmers for the homeless and destitute. Emphasizing a participative culture, the College involves students, alumni, and management in distributing these items. They venture into city streets and remote villages, providing school kits and warm clothing to needy children. This initiative fosters a sense of empathy and belonging, nurturing a commitment to human welfare among students and shaping them into compassionate citizens.

(6) Problems Encountered and Resources required:
· The major challenge that we face is organizing and arranging the programmes in the interior and remote villages surrounding Radhanpur is locating the ideally needy and necessity stricken areas.
· The team works hard to find homeless people all over the city on cold nights to give them blankets and shawls. These people are spread out in different areas, so it takes extra effort to locate them.
· Sometimes we lack enough money, but we always manage to find generous donors from Radhanpur or nearby villages and towns to support this important and humane cause.
